“A legend retires” – “My children can continue my legacy, it’s over for me” – Bukom Banku hangs his gloves

Ghanaian heavyweight boxer, Braimah Kamoko, known as Bukom Banku, has officially hanged his gloves from the sport of boxing.

The legendary boxer who has dominated the heavyweight boxing criteria in Ghana for a very long time announced that he is no longer getting back in the ring.

During an interview with Halifax on Okay FM, Bukom Banku stated,

” Now I am old, I cannot fight . My children are also fighting now so I have to leave the game for them . They have to continue my legacy “.

When asked what he plans to do after his retirement the boxer stated,

” I’m now doing comedy and other video skits, also I do adverts to take care of myself “.
