Social media has been buzzing with reactions to Dancegod Lloyd’s choreography for Sarkodie’s latest hit, ‘Messiah.’
While Dancegod Lloyd is celebrated for his energetic and innovative moves, his latest routine appears to have missed the mark for some Ghanaians, sparking a mix of criticism and disappointment.
Comments circulating on social media suggest that fans were underwhelmed by the dance.
A user commented, “This one dierrr naaa -1/10,” highlighting their dissatisfaction with the choreography.
Another quipped, “Stick to them TikTok sounds,” implying the moves were better suited for light-hearted TikTok trends than for such a dynamic song.
Yet another remarked in Akan, “Aww breda, wama mesee koraa afim,” which translates loosely to expressing disappointment in the dance’s lack of flair.
Despite the criticism, Dancegod Lloyd’s track record of memorable routines suggests he may bounce back stronger.
His contribution to the global recognition of Ghanaian dance styles has been significant, but for now, fans seem to be yearning for choreography that better matches the energy of Sarkodie’s ‘Messiah.’
