A few months ago, popular radio presenter Auntie Naa, host of the Oyerepa show, successfully raised a whopping GHC500K to help a sick nurse in need of surgery.
Tragically, recent reports have confirmed that the young nurse has passed away.
Auntie Naa Raises 500k
On August 15, 2024, Auntie Naa made a public appeal for funds to support the nurse, who required a life-saving surgical procedure. The nurse, who worked at Dominase SDA Hospital, had been involved in an accident two years prior, which left her with a severe head injury.
Despite undergoing multiple surgeries, her condition continued to worsen.
Her mother explained that the mounting hospital bills had become overwhelming for the family, prompting them to seek help from the public. Thanks to Auntie Naa’s efforts, the funds were raised, but sadly, the nurse couldn’t pull through.
