Bill Kenwright was an English theatre and film producer, actor, singer and chairman of Everton Football Club. He was born on 4 September 1945 in Liverpool and died on 23 October 2023 in London.
He was one of the UK’s most successful theatre impresarios, producing more than 500 shows in West End, Broadway, UK touring and international theatre.
He was also a lifelong Everton fan who joined the club’s board in 1989 and became the chairman in 2004. He was awarded a CBE in 2001 for his services to film and theatre.

Bill Kenwright’s parents were Arthur Henry Kenwright and Hope Elizabeth Kenwright (née Davies). They were both from Liverpool and worked as shopkeepers. They had two sons: Bill and Robert.[9][10]
