Amanda Agyapong, one of Kennedy Agyapong’s daughters who recently made waves after landing a position with Google, has revealed how her father worked hard to become one of the richest and most powerful men in Ghana.
According to her, Kennedy had to hustle from literal dirt to become such a rich and influential person and she said that inspires her more than anything in the world.
Speaking after her father lost the NPP Presidential primaries, Amanda sought to put into perspective the scope of Agyapong’s achievements.
According to her, he had to work hard from childhood by selling to help the family upkeep and fund his education.
She said after getting the chance to move to the U.S., he worked hard, often holding as many as 3 jobs just to put himself through school.
Amanda said her father’s story is simply so inspirational and the embodiment of ‘you can do everything you set your mind to’.

Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the member of Parliament for Assin Central, was defeated in his bid to become the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He lost to Vice President Dr Mahamamudu Bawumia who secured two-thirds of the delegate’s vote.
