After a lengthy absence from social media, young Ghanaian actor John Peasah, well known for his portrayal of Drogba in the hit television series YOLO, has returned to the public eye.
The actor posted a video of himself with his YOLO co-star Stephanie Younge on his official Instagram page on Monday, March 10, 2025. Younge had been to his house to see how he was doing.
In the video, John Peasah, wearing jeans and a blue Lacoste shirt, appears happy as he spends time with his colleague and shows indications of healing from his demyelinating condition.
As he engaged with Stephanie, who portrayed Jane, his former lover and baby mom in the YOLO series, he moved freely and without any difficulty.
In the caption of his Instagram photo, John Peasah thanked Stephanie Younge for postponing her vacation to visit him at his house and spend time with him.
As he continued to fight his health issues, the actor also urged his YOLO co-star to keep praying for him.
He wrote: “Your visit meant the world to me, especially knowing you had a long journey ahead of you tonight. Your selflessness and thoughtfulness are a testament to the kind of person you are, and I’m grateful to have you in my life. @awo_diva. Pray with me wai.”
