One of the most influential rappers in Central Region of Ghana Okintoe  has revealed the challenges Musicians are currently facing at Central Music Awards.

According to the rapper, Central region musicians are paid  only 2000ghc for shows including the just-ended Central Music Awards. Meanwhile, musicians billed from other regions are paid huge amounts of money.

Speaking in a recent interview with Kofy Jesse TV, Rapper Okintoe expressed frustration with the Central Music Awards and how Cape Coast-based musicals are mistreated. The artist claimed that the just-ended awards event was poorly managed, leading to a negative experience for performers.

Furthermore, the musician alleged disparities in compensation for performers, with some receiving significantly more than others. This has raised concerns about fairness and transparency in the music industry.

While the specifics of this situation are unclear, it highlights the importance of proper organization and fair treatment of performers at music events. Event organizers must prioritize performers’ needs and concerns to ensure a positive experience for all involved.

The music industry is built on the talents and hard work of its performers. As such, they must be treated with respect and fairness.
