The statue, which stands at the hospital’s entrance, symbolizes the administration’s commitment to advancing healthcare in Ghana. Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital has long served as a major healthcare center for the region, and recent investments have been directed toward enhancing its facilities and capacity.

During the unveiling, President Akufo-Addo reiterated the importance of accessible and high-quality healthcare for all Ghanaians, particularly in regional areas where hospitals often face resource constraints.

He thanked the residents of Sekondi and surrounding communities for their steadfast support, acknowledging that continued collaboration between the government and the people is crucial for sustained development.
