Paul Mescal born 2 February 1996 is an Irish actor who is best known for his starring role in the miniseries Normal People 2020 and in the films God’s Creatures and Aftersun.

He has received several awards including British Academy Television Award with a nomination for an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award.

Born in Maynooth, he graduated from The Lir Academy in 2017 and subsequently performed in plays, such as The Great Gatsby, Asking for It, and The Lieutenant of Inishmore, in Dublin theatres.
