Paul Gascoigne  is a retired English professional footballer considered one of the most talented players of his generation.

He was born on May 27, 1967, in Dunston, Tyne and Wear, England.

Gascoigne began his professional football career with Newcastle United in 1985 and quickly made a name for himself with his impressive skills on the pitch. He then moved on to Tottenham Hotspur, where he helped the team win the 1991 FA Cup.

In 1992, Gascoigne signed with Lazio in Italy, becoming one of the first British players to play in Serie A. He had a successful spell with the club, helping them win the Coppa Italia in 1998.

Gascoigne’s career was not without controversy, however. He was known for his off-field antics and struggles with alcoholism, which led to several incidents and controversies throughout his career.

Despite these issues, Gascoigne remained a beloved figure in the world of football, known for his incredible skill on the pitch and his larger-than-life personality.

He also played for the English national team, making 57 appearances and scoring 10 goals.
