Patrice Bergeron is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently serves as the captain of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born on July 24, 1985, in L’Ancienne-Lorette, Quebec, Canada.
Bergeron was drafted 45th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut during the 2003-04 season and has been a member of the Bruins ever since.
