Nollywood Actress Sharon Okpamen Passes Away After Childbirth Complications

Nollywood actress and producer Sharon Okpamen has sadly passed away, nearly one month after welcoming her second child. On July 31, Sharon joyfully announced the arrival of her baby, Osarhuese, on Facebook, writing, “To God be the glory. Osarhuese is here.”

The devastating news of Sharon’s death was shared by her colleague, movie producer Stanley Ontop, on his official Instagram page on Saturday, August 24, 2024. In his emotional post, Stanley wrote, “Nollywood actress and producer Sharon Okpamen has unfortunately passed on. 💔😭 It’s a sad day for Nollywood and the Edo entertainment industry. Sharon, who was a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, has left a significant void in the industry. May her soul rest in perfect peace. Amen @sharonokpamen. It can only get better 😭💔.” According to reports, she fell into a coma after giving birth and sadly never recovered.
