According to reports from local media, American rapper Nicki Minaj has allegedly been detained at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands. Minaj recorded part of her interaction with the police and shared it on social media platforms.
In the video, a police officer can be heard apparently informing Minaj of her arrest. Dutch authorities stated that a 41-year-old American woman was apprehended on suspicion of possessing soft drugs, without disclosing the individual’s identity.

Allegedly, Minaj was preparing to travel to Manchester for a concert at the Co-op Live venue on Saturday night. The BBC has reached out to Minaj’s representatives for comment on the matter.
