Marlène Schiappa is a French politician, writer, and women’s rights activist. She was born on November 18, 1982, in Paris, France.

Schiappa began her career as a writer, publishing several books on parenting, sex education, and women’s rights.

In 2010, she co-founded the website Maman travaille (Working Mom) to support working mothers in France.

In 2017, Schiappa was appointed as the Secretary of State for Equality between Women and Men by President Emmanuel Macron

. She is responsible for developing policies aimed at promoting gender equality and combating gender-based violence.

Under Schiappa’s leadership, the French government has implemented several reforms, including the criminalization of street harassment, the extension of paternity leave, and the introduction of sexual education in schools.
