Josh Giddey is an Australian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
He was born on October 10, 2002, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Giddey began his professional basketball career with the Adelaide 36ers in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) during the 2020-21 season.
He quickly became one of the most exciting young players in the league, and was named the NBL Rookie of the Year for that season.
In the 2021 NBA draft, Giddey was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the sixth overall pick.
