Jim Jordan wife: Who is Polly Jordan
James Daniel Jordan was born February 17, 1964, and he is an American attorney and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Ohio’s 4th congressional district since 2007.
His district stretches from Lake Erie to just below Urbana in north-central and western Ohio and includes Lima, Marion, Tiffin, Norwalk, and Elyria.
A member of the Republican Party, Jordan is a former collegiate wrestler and college wrestling coach. President Donald Trump awarded Jordan the Presidential Medal of Freedom on January 11, 2021.
Jordan is a founding member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, serving as its first chair from 2015 to 2017, and as its vice-chair since 2017.
He was the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee from 2019 to 2020. He vacated that position to become the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee.
Jordan is a close ally of former president Donald Trump. During Trump’s presidency, Jordan sought to discredit investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 election and staged a sit-in to prevent a Trump impeachment inquiry hearing over the Trump-Ukraine scandal.
After Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election and Trump refused to concede while making false claims of fraud, Jordan supported lawsuits to invalidate the election results and voted not to certify the Electoral College results. He has refused to cooperate with the United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack, which subpoenaed him on May 12, 2022.

Polly Jordan is the wife of Jim Jordan, the couple has been married for years.
Polly worked as a teacher. During a 2011 profile for her husband, it was reported that she was teaching art at a public school at the time. She retired from teaching in 2018.
Polly Jordan also taught at a school in Ohio’s Graham District, where she grew up. Now, it’s not clear if she resigned or if she still actively teaching. The evidence purported to show that she resigned is from an agenda of a meeting held on May 15th, 2017. Her name was on the list of teachers whose contracts would not be renewed for the 2017-2018 school year.
It is also feasible that she retired based on her age. In 2018, she should have been 54 years old, as she was born in 1963. Teachers in Ohio can retire early at 55 years, provided they have had a service credit requirement of 28 years of service.

The two have known each other since they were teenagers. She is a year older than Jim, having been together since he was 13 and she was 14-years-old. They were introduced by Polly’s brothers –who were also on the wrestling team.
The couple tied the knot on August 17, 1985. At the time, they were in their early 20’s and still attending college.
The same year, Congressman Jim Jordan won the NCAA Division a wrestling championship for the first time. Jim Jordan was studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
It’s not clear if Polly Jordan attended the same college, but they’re both Graham High School alumni.
Does Polly Jordan have kids with Jim Jordan?
Polly and Jim Jordan raised four children: Rachel, Ben, Jessie, and Isaac. Initially, she homeschooled her children.
They are all adults now, and Isaac Jordan followed in his father’s footsteps. He went on to join the University of Wisconsin-Madison and became a wrestling Badger.
In his first season on the wrestling team, Isaac Jordan managed a 17-0 record. By March 6, 2014, he was the second-best ranked wrestler across the country.
Isaac Jordan went on to join the Indiana University wrestling staff as an assistant coach. Polly Jordan’s husband coached the Ohio State University.
The couple’s daughter Rachel, their oldest, was born in 1987. She is married to Chris Salisbury.
