Saahene Osei, son of prominent Ghanaian businessman Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, was involved in a road accident on Tuesday night, June 3, at Okponglo Junction in Accra.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred around 9:30 PM when Saahene’s Mercedes-Benz GLE collided with a commercial minibus, commonly known as a trotro. Both vehicles sustained visible damage.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported. Passengers from the trotro were safely evacuated, and no emergency medical attention was required at the scene.
The exact cause of the collision is not yet known, and police have launched an investigation into the incident. Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
Saahene, the youngest son of Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, is a known public figure and has frequently appeared in media and social circles, often seen at high-profile events and alongside influential personalities in Ghana’s entertainment and business communities.
