Former First Lady, the late Theresa Kufour’s final funeral rites were held over the weekends.
The funeral kicked start from November 16th to the 19th.
Mrs. Theresa Kufour was laid in state at the Forecourt of the State House on Thursday, November 16th for sympathizers to file past her.
High-profile personalities including President Akufo-Addo, First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, former President John Dramani Mahama and his wife Lordina among others were at the funeral to show their last respect to the late former First Lady, Theresa Kufour.
The funeral was crowned in Kumasi at Heroes Park on November 18th before the burial.
Theresa Kufour was buried in a mansion.
According to reports, she was buried in former President Kufour’s second mansion.

Ghana’s former First Lady Theresa Kufour died on October 1st, 2023.
She passed on peacefully surrounded by her family at her house in Peduase.
She was 87 years old.
