US-based Ghanaian socialite Ayisha Modi has launched a scathing attack on her ex-husband, Abass Sariki Giwa, branding him a “nobody” and asserting that he owes his status to her family’s influence.

Ayisha Modi, known for her outspoken nature and close ties to Ghana’s entertainment industry, didn’t hold back in her latest video. She claimed that her family was instrumental in Abass Sariki’s rise to prominence, even facilitating his enstoolment as a chief in Akropong.

“My uncles enstooled him as a chief in Ghana. His power is beneath me. He’s a nobody,” Ayisha Modi declared, challenging the public perception of Abass Sariki’s status.

This bold statement comes after a tumultuous history between the two. Their relationship, once the talk of the town, ended in 2023 under controversial circumstances. Abass Sariki has publicly denied ever being married to Ayisha Modi, stating:

“She is not my wife! This issue makes my heart ache! I can’t ever marry her, and it’s time she takes it out of her mind.”

He further suggested that if Ayisha harbored feelings for him, she should “keep it in a bible and pray over it,” emphasizing his desire to distance himself from her claims.

Despite these denials, Ayisha Modi has consistently maintained that their relationship was genuine. She alleges that Abass Sariki pursued her relentlessly, even introducing her to his family and proposing marriage multiple times.

The feud has captivated the Ghanaian public, with fans and followers taking sides in the ongoing drama. Ayisha Modi’s recent comments have reignited discussions about the nature of their relationship and the dynamics of power and influence within Ghana’s social circles.
