AJ will take on Otto Wallin on December 23 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as part of an event he will share with Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker.
Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has once again switched trainers, this time enlisting the services of Tyson Fury’s former coach, Ben Davison.
Joshua is scheduled to face Otto Wallin on December 23 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Davison, who has previously worked with Fury and Billy Joe Saunders, is known for his focus on defensive techniques and is expected to bring a new dimension to Joshua’s training camp.
This marks the third time in as many years that Joshua has changed trainers. In 2019, he parted ways with Robert Garcia after a shock defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr.
He then hired Rob McCracken, but the two split after Joshua’s rematch loss to Ruiz in 2020.
Davison is a respected figure in the boxing world and is expected to provide Joshua with the guidance he needs to get back on track.
Joshua will be hoping that Davison can help him rediscover the form that saw him become world champion in 2016.
