A piece of heartbreaking news from Dormaa West in the Bono Region confirms the death of a 33-year-old Mobile Money vendor and foreign currency exchanger named Japhet Yeboah.
He was shot in the head and killed at his shop in the Nkrankwanta lorry station yesterday evening.
As reported, the armed robbers arrived at the deceased’s shop in a private vehicle, pretending to engage him in business.
However, under the pretense of doing business with him, they launched an attack and demanded that he hand over all his money.
This confrontation escalated into a struggle, during which they shot him in the head, killing him instantly.
The robbers then fled with an undisclosed sum of money.
