The much-anticipated Ghana Elections 2024 Peace and Unity Night of Boxing and Entertainment was officially launched today at a press conference organized by Sports Education & Management Promotions in collaboration with Macbones Promotions.
The event aims to promote peace and unity ahead of Ghana’s 2024 elections, combining thrilling boxing matches and entertainment to bring communities together in harmony.
Scheduled for 22nd November 2024, the event will take place at the renowned Bukom Boxing Arena at 7 PM. Among the highlights of the night are two headline bouts: National Super Middleweight Title and National Light Heavyweight Title.
These matches promise to deliver a spectacle as some of Ghana’s top boxing talents step into the ring.
During the press conference, Freezy MacBone, one of the participating boxers, shared his thoughts in an exclusive interview with King Bygone. He expressed concern over the lack of adequate equipment and resources for boxers in Ghana.
“There are less equipment for the boxers to train,” MacBone stated, emphasizing that this is a major hurdle for athletes striving to compete at their best. He called on the government and other stakeholders to invest in providing better facilities and gear for the sport.
MacBone’s sentiments highlight a broader issue affecting the boxing industry in Ghana, where talented fighters often struggle to reach their full potential due to resource limitations.
The Pace and Unity Night is not just about boxing; it also seeks to blend sports with entertainment, creating a vibrant platform to foster unity among Ghanaians as the nation gears up for its elections.
Organizers have promised a memorable evening filled with energy, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.
Tickets are expected to go on sale soon, with fans encouraged to mark their calendars for an unforgettable experience.
