Stevie Wonder Ceremony Details

The citizenship ceremony, held at the Jubilee House in Accra, was presided over by President Nana Akufo-Addo, who presented Wonder with his Certificate of Citizenship by Registration.

This milestone moment follows Wonder’s 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, during which he revealed his desire to permanently relocate to Ghana, citing concerns such as political unrest in the United States. It appears that Wonder has found a new home in the vibrant West African nation.

While not a competition, this unique statistic underscores Stevie Wonder’s enduring musical legacy and Ghana’s rising prominence in the global music arena. It serves as a moment of celebration for both Wonder and his adopted homeland.
