In recent months, a fashion controversy has been brewing in Ghana, involving popular TV host and fashion entrepreneur, Serwaa Amihere.
Known for her chic and elegant style, Amihere has been at the center of a debate surrounding intellectual property rights and the affordability of fashion.
Serwaa Amihere, the founder of the fashion brand Office & Co, had uploaded images of some expensive clothes on her social media platforms, claiming them as her intellectual property.
However, controversy arose when identical dresses were found being sold at a cheaper price at the Togo border.
In a photo sighted by Nsemwokrom.com, a Ghanaian blogger King Bygone, shares a photo collage of Serwaa Amihere’s outfit, the same thing selling at a cheaper price at Togo Border.
