Notable prominent Ghanaian celebrities and business leaders all made their way to the Garden City, Kumasi, for the one-week event commemorating the passing of Rev Obofour’s late mother.
The one-week remembrance occurred today, Friday, March 14th, 2025, with Obofour, his wife Bofowaa, their kids, and extended family in attendance.
The Antwi family – Obofour’s real name is Kwaku Agyei Antwi – were joined by several of his celebrity friends and associates.
Spotted at the funeral were actors, Kwaku Manu, Funny Face, and Auntie B. Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu, as well as Angel Group of Companies CEO, Dr Kwaku Oteng, all made appearances.

Rev Obofour, founder and leader of the Anointed Palace Chapel, lost his mother recently. His wife, Bofowaa Ciara, announced the tragedy in an emotional social media post.
Meanwhile, in a heartwarming portion of the program, Obofour was spotted spraying money on his daughter as she danced for the crowd.
