A THUG who butchered teenager Daniel McAnaspie has escaped, according to the Irish Sun.
Vile Trevor Noone, 35, was released from Limerick Prison yesterday and is thought to be in Dublin.
His innocent victim’s family was informed of his release date and was also informed that he would not be subjected to any type of supervision.
Trevor Noone, who was described in court as having “scant regard for others in society,” was released after being sentenced to 13 years in prison for the gruesome killing of the teenager in 2017.
Gardai in Finglas and Blanchardstown have been made aware of his release and remain on alert because of his “propensity for violence”.
Our exclusive image shows him smiling for the camera in a pose sent to one of his pals in west Dublin.
Noone, a “complete narcissist,” and his friend Richard Dekker, 36, stabbed Daniel over 20 times in the back, body, and throat with garden shears in Blanchardstown, Dublin, in February 2010.
Daniel was in HSE custody at the time of the killing, and his remains were discovered in a drain in Rathfeigh, Co Meath, on May 12, 2010.
Daniel’s sister Cathriona, 33, told the Irish Sun in an exclusive interview of her family’s “utter devastation” following the killer’s release.
“We’re devastated that this monster is now loose, but we only have a graveyard to go to,” she said.
“It’s scandalous that someone can walk out of prison less than six years after they were sentenced for butchering a child.
“The Irish Prison Service have told us that he has now been released and it’s just gut-wrenching to think he’s out there somewhere.
“Who’s to say he’s not out there right now planning to come after us because of our decision to stand up for Daniel.”
Cathriona added: “My brother Keith is finding it hard because there was just a year between Daniel and him.
“How are we going to sleep at night knowing that the monster who took Daniel is out there living his life?
“We knew this day would come but his sentence should have started on the day he was found guilty.
“We’ve no doubt that he will kill again because he has never shown any remorse for taking Daniel’s life.”
PARANOID BEHIND BARS
Noone has also been imprisoned in Mountjoy and Portlaoise.
We can also reveal that he frequently expressed concerns that his food was tainted and that his enemies were attempting to kill him behind bars.
According to one prison official: “When he was inside, he believed he was someone important, but the reality was quite different.
“Nobody killed that young man. On a variety of issues, he was regarded as a conspiracy theorist, and he was convinced that everyone was out to get him.
“Noone was just paranoid because he knew there was a lot of hatred out there for him because of what he did to that child.”
We can also reveal that he’s suspected of intimidating and assaulting other teenagers.
