Michael James Lindell (born June 28, 1961), also known as the My Pillow Guy, is an American businessman, conservative political activist, and conspiracy theorist.
He is the founder and CEO of My Pillow, Inc., a pillow, bedding, and slipper manufacturing company.
Mike Lindell has a net worth of $50 million and is an American entrepreneur, business leader, and author. Lindell is well known for founding and developing My Pillow.
He’s also renowned for being a prominent fan of Donald Trump, and he’s been a part of Trump’s efforts to rig the 2020 presidential election by providing financial support and propagating conspiracy theories.
Personal Life
Mike and Karen Dickey married on May 9, 1987, and their four children are Lizzy, Heather, Darren, and Charlie. After a two-decade marriage, Lindell and Dickey separated, and Mike married Dallas Yocum on June 8, 2013. After Yocum left him, Lindell filed for divorce the next month.
Mike began a nine-month romance with actress Jane Krakowski in late 2019, according to the “Daily Mail” in early 2021. The accusation was refuted by Krakowski’s representative, who stated, “Mr. Lindell is someone Jane has never met. She is not and has never been in a romantic or other connection with him.”

Early Life
Mike Lindell was born Michael James Lindell in Mankato, Minnesota, on June 28, 1961. He was born and raised in the Minnesota towns of Carver and Chaska, where he began gambling as a youngster. Mike enrolled in the University of Minnesota after graduating from high school, but he dropped out after just a few months.
Lindell became hooked to cocaine in his twenties and began using crack in the 1990s. His first wife ended their marriage and his property was foreclosed due to his drug usage and gambling problems. Mike’s drug addiction had progressed to the point where his crack dealers staged an intervention in 2008.
Lindell claims that “They were three of the city’s most powerful dealers. They said I had been awake for the previous 19 days. They refused to sell to me in the future. One of them attempted to babysit me until I passed out.” Mike has stated that prayer was important in his sobriety in 2009.
Career
Mike started many small enterprises in Minnesota in the 1980s, including pubs, restaurants, and a carpet cleaning company. He created the My Pillow pillow in 2004 and marketed it at trade exhibitions, mall kiosks, and state fairs for the following few years. In 2009, he founded My Pillow, Inc., and the firm quickly grew after airing its first commercial in 2011.
The 30-minute broadcast cost $500,000 to make and aired 200 times every day on average. The infomercial, according to Lindell, “Became the world’s most popular infomercial. We went from five to 500 staff in 40 days.”
At its peak, the company generated a reported $280 million in revenue per year, and as of this writing, the company has sold over 50 million pillows and employs more than 1,600 people.
Political Activities
After meeting with then-presidential candidate Donald Trump in August 2016, Lindell became a Trump supporter. “It seemed like a divine appointment when I met with Donald Trump,” Mike later stated, “and as I walked out of his office, I determined I was going to go all in,” Lindell spoke at Trump rallies and the 2019 Conservative Political Action Conference. He also attended the last presidential debate and Trump’s inauguration.
He met with Trump in 2019 to discuss the issue of opioid addiction, and he was there when Trump signed the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act, which addressed opioid use disorder.
During the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mike temporarily changed the focus of the My Pillow factories from bedding products to face masks at the Trump administration’s request.
Around that time, Lindell appeared at a White House COVID-19 press conference, and he became the Minnesota campaign chair for Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign.
During the pandemic, Mike promoted oleandrin, a toxic plant extract, as a COVID-19 cure, and he is a board member of Phoenix Biotechnology, a company that manufacturers products that contain oleandrin.
Lost Revenue
In the wake of Mike’s public rantings about the election, many retail stores pulled his pillows from their shelves. This move caused MyPillow’s sales to drop by $80 million.
In December 2021 Mike Lindell told CNBC that between November 2020 and December 2021 he spent $25 million of his own money trying to prove that the election was stolen from Donald Trump.
