Where will Susan Rocess be buried?
Susan Roces, the Queen of Philippine Movies, was buried alongside her husband, Fernando Poe Jr. (FPJ), the King of Philippine Movies, at the Manila North Cemetery on Thursday.
The funeral of the legendary actress was crowded with family and fans. Susan Roces’ close family, as well as Senator Grace Poe, were in attendance. Also spotted were Jose Victor Ejercito, Bibeth Orteza, and Boots Anson Roa.
At internment, actress Bibeth Orteza thanked Susan Roces one last time, “Thank you, thank you for everything na ipinayo mo sa akin (that you advised me), at salamat na yung desisyon kong maging ‘Susanian’ nung bata ako, tama palang ganun (and thank you that my decision to become a ‘Susanian’ when I was young was correct).
Pag may hahangaan ka, makikita mo talaga kung bakit siya talagang kahanga-hanga (When you admire someone, you will really see why she is worth your admiration).”
A final mass was held at the actress’ wake at The Chapels, Heritage Memorial Park prior to her burial. It was livestreamed via Senator Grace Poe’s facebook page.
