David Jolicoeur, also known under the stage name Trugoy the Dove, Plug 2 and Dave, was an American rapper, and producer, best known as one third of the hip-hop group De La Soul. Jolicoeur was also a member of the Spitkicker collective.
Jolicoeur was born on September 21, 1968, in Brooklyn, New York to Haitian-American parents, but grew up in the Long Island hamlet of East Massapequa.
