Vince McMahon’s wife: Who is Linda McMahon?

Linda McMahon (full name: Linda Marie Edwards) was born in New Bern, North Carolina on October 4, 1948. Her parents, who worked at a Marine Corps post, had only one daughter, Linda. During her childhood, she was interested in basketball and baseball.

Linda and Vince met when they were both 13 years old since their mothers worked in the same building and were friends. They met in high school and married on August 26, 1966, when she was only 17 years old.

She attended East Carolina University the next year and earned a bachelor’s degree in French as well as teaching certification. Shane McMahon was born on January 15, 1970, while Stephanie was born six years later, on September 24, 1976.

She began her career as a receptionist at Covington & Burling, a corporate law firm, while Vince worked as a television commentator for his father’s Capitol Wrestling Corporation. Vince was extending his promotion, and she was in charge of scheduling and contracts, so the couple moved to Gaithersburg, Maryland, and then West Hartford, Connecticut.

McMahon co-founded Titan Sports, Inc. (now WWE) with her husband, Vince McMahon, and served as president and later CEO from 1980 until 2009.

The company grew from a tiny regional enterprise in the northeast to a huge worldwide organization throughout this time. She founded the company’s civic programs, Get REAL and Smackdown Your Vote, among other things.

She made a few appearances on screen, most notably in a feud with her husband that ended at WrestleMania X-Seven.
