For some reason, Ghanaians especially social media users are of the view that Kuami Eugene is not talented but only rides on people’s songs to elevate his status.
Recall that Kuami Eugene was ‘busted’ when he released ‘confusion’ song by a Marlian artiste called Sidiki Diabaté. Also, Nigerian Ice Prince accused Kuami of sampling his Wish Me Well song and not long ago, Adane Best also called out Kuami Eugene.
Perhaps, it’s at the back of this bad records of Kuami Eugene that born Michael Takyi-Frimpong but popularly known as Lord Paper in the Showbiz circle, has advised Kuami Eugene going forward.
“Unlike the samples other people’s music, I don’t do that. Like it’s known and it’s not like he will even deny it … like, its a fact that he samples a lot of people’s lyrics in his song. It’s normal,” he said when responding to a question of how he felt about the Lynx Entertainment signee’s recent actions on social media, Instagram.
In an exclusive interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM, he disclosed that he didn’t use any words from Daddy Lumba’s hit single ‘Ankwanoma.’
“I didn’t use any of Daddy Lumba’s lyrics,” he said when responding to allegations that Kuami Eugene sampled Daddy Lumba’s ‘Ankwanoma’ song just to outshine him.
