According to the Evening Standard, Thomas Tuchel would be interested in the Tottenham position if Antonio Conte were to depart the team in the near future.
Following a string of disappointing performances and outcomes, notably Sunday’s loss to Arsenal that put Spurs 14 points behind the league’s top teams, Conte’s position has come under fire.
Although Spurs have the opportunity to exercise a 12-month contract extension with the Italian, he has repeatedly declined to commit to the club through the end of the current campaign, when his contract expires.
After being fired by Chelsea in September of last year, Tuchel is currently taking a break from football and is without a job. However, he is now prepared to return to the game and to listen to proposals from leading clubs.
