Tanya Pardazi dead: TikTok star dies after skydiving accident aged 21

Tanya Pardazi, a TikTok celebrity, died in a skydiving accident at the age of 21.

The aspiring beauty queen, who had previously participated in Miss Canada, died over the weekend after suffering severe injuries in a fall.

On August 27, she was said to be participating in her first solo course in Ontario.

When disaster struck, she is said to have opened her parachute too late during the drop.

Pardazi was brought to the hospital with grave injuries and was confirmed dead.

‘A skydiving student, age 21, died as a result of fatal injuries sustained in an emergency circumstance,’ Skydive Toronto stated in a statement. ‘ The skydiver dropped a rapidly rotating primary parachute at a low height, eliminating the need for the backup parachute to fill.

‘The Skydive Toronto crew is presently assisting the South Simcoe Police with their investigation.’

‘The jumper was a welcomed newcomer to the skydiving community and will be missed by the student’s new friends and fellow Skydive Toronto Inc. jumpers.


‘This disaster has had a tremendous impact on the crew at Skydive Toronto Inc, who have been refining their student training program for over 50 years.’

According to a representative for the South Simcoe Police Service, an investigation is presently ongoing to ascertain what transpired.

At the time of her death, Pardazi was enrolled in a philosophy course at the University of Toronto.

She rose to prominence after competing in the Miss Canada beauty pageant in 2017, when she advanced to the semi-finals.

In addition, she amassed over 100,000 followers on TikTok, where she posted as Philosatea.

After learning of her passing, admirers swarmed to the comments section of her most recent post, in which she mentioned recently skydiving, to offer their condolences.


‘Rest in Peace, my friend,’ one person said. ‘I’m sorry you had to leave us so soon. ‘I hope your afterlife is everything you hoped for and more until we meet again.’
