Steven Bartlett is a British entrepreneur, author, and speaker. He is best known for being the founder and former CEO of the social media marketing agency, Social Chain.
He was born on August 26, 1992, in Botswana and grew up in Manchester, UK.
Bartlett started his career as a social media marketer while he was still in university. In 2014, he founded Social Chain, which quickly became one of the UK’s fastest-growing social media agencies.
Social Chain helped companies to reach younger audiences through social media campaigns, and its clients included Apple, Amazon, and Coca-Cola.
In 2021, Bartlett left Social Chain to focus on other projects. He is now an author and a popular speaker, known for his talks on entrepreneurship, social media, and mental health.
His book, “Happy Sexy Millionaire: Unexpected Truths about Fulfilment, Love and Success,” was published in 2021.
Bartlett is also an advocate for mental health and has spoken publicly about his own struggles with anxiety and depression. He has used his platform to raise awareness about mental health issues and to encourage others to seek help.

Bartlett was born in Botswana to an English father Graham Bartlett and a Nigerian mother, Esther Bartlett.
His mother left school aged seven and could not read or write; his father was a structural engineer.
He moved to Plymouth, England at the age of two, where he grew up, attending a secondary school, Plymstock School, and a sixth form.
