Stacey Dooley Father: Meet her Stepfather Norman Niblock
Stacey Jaclyn Dooley was born on 9 March 1987 in Luton, Bedfordshire.
Her father was from Ireland and left the family when she was two years old.
He was an alcoholic who died when Dooley was in her 20s before they could reconcile. She grew up in Luton and studied at Stopsley High School.
She left school at 15 and worked as a shop assistant, selling perfumes at Luton Airport.
Brought up by her mother, Diane, Dooley’s father was never a part of her life as he left home when she was two.
Diane was resilient, working in pubs and cleaning houses, and managed to secure council housing. She later married Dooley’s stepfather, Norman Niblock.
