Pastor writes warning letter to members for dancing shaku shaku & azonto in Church

Year in, year out, a lot of dance styles make waves across Africa. The dance styles become so trendy on social media that it somehow, someway makes it way to funerals, homes, churches among other places.

Most churches frown against these dance styles anyway. They’re mostly tagged as dances from the Kingdom of Hell— so anyone who engages in such dances is glorifying Satan.

Well, some choir-members of First Baptist Church, Agbede in Nigeria happened to have exhibited some trending dance moves during a church service and they were given a warning accordingly through a letter.

According to the letter, they were asked to desist from dance styles which does not glorify God.

Read the letter below;

“The disciplinary committee of the above-named church choir hereby write to give you a warning as regard your dance style during church service most especially during the praise and worship section.

The committee hereby write to tell you that you should kindly stop this dance style that doesn’t glorify God during worship service as there would be a close watch on you to see if you’re going to change before you would be asked to face the disciplinary committee if there is still no change n your style of dancing.”
