The body discovered inside a donation bin in South Carolina has been identified by authorities as having been dead for at least several months.

Hannah Gates told WACH news that her mother had been missing since March 2022 and that she had been looking for her ever since. She was relieved to have closure, but she was still in pain after learning that her mother, Lesley Lemoine, 46, was the woman discovered badly decomposed in a clothing bin in Kershaw County.

Gates stated that her mother requested that she be dropped off at a McDonald’s in Lugoff on March 29. Lemoine went missing on May 7.
