Kotoko to sign deadly striker Kwame Poku
Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are set to complete the signing of Nkoranza Warriors striker Kwame Poku ahead of the upcoming season.
The 20-year-old has popped up on the radar of the Kumasi-based club as they want to strengthen their upfront for the new season.
Poku once earned a call-up to the Ghana U20 team but failed to make the final squad for the 2018 Africa Youth Championship staged in Niger.
He scored ten (10) goals for Nkoranza Warriors in their GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition campaign.
He was reportedly joining Ashanti Gold SC after the GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition but the deal hit snag.
Kotoko already have four strikers in their fold namely George Abege, Richard Arthur, Naby Keita and Songne Yacouba.
Poku is currently a member of the Ghana U23 team.
