Katherine Ryan says a prominent TV personality is ‘a sexual predator’
A well-known British TV personality is allegedly a “perpetrator of sexual assault,” according to Katherine Ryan.
The 39-year-old Canadian comic claimed to have previously confronted the anonymous individual in public, but claimed that his allegedly improper behavior is still a “open secret” in the business.
On a recent episode of his “Interviews…” series Tuesday, the star of “The Duchess” went into more detail about this specific prominent person without mentioning his name.
She told Theroux, “It’s incredibly risky for us to have this talk.”
“I’m glad to have it, but it’s a litigious minefield because many people have sought to bring this person to justice for their alleged misdeeds, and this person has very good lawyers. Am I going to put my mortgage on the line by disclosing who this person is or engaging in any conversations like that?”
We’ve observed what occurs to those who make accusations against alleged predators, she continued.
The cartoonist said that, even if she wasn’t a victim herself, the subject was well-known for acting in a particular manner.
She said, “It’s not really my story to tell. “No one has ever committed a sexual assault on me, but this guy, I firmly believe – many firmly believe – is an open secret, is a perpetrator of sexual assault,” the speaker said.
Earlier this year, Ryan discussed her altercation with the individual in issue on her television program “Backstage With Katherine Ryan.”
That day, I called him a predator in front of everyone, to his face, Ryan recalled. What’s expected of me? I don’t have any proof, which makes it such a complex situation. What, am I meant to stop providing for my kids because of someone else?
