Karl Stefanovic is an Australian television presenter and journalist, best known for his work on the Nine Network’s breakfast program “Today”.
He was born on August 12, 1974, in Darlinghurst, New South Wales, Australia.
Stefanovic began his journalism career in 1994 at WIN Television in Rockhampton, Queensland.
He then worked for various other television stations in Australia before joining the Nine Network in 2000 as a reporter and presenter for the network’s news and current affairs programs.
Stefanovic became the co-host of the “Today” show in 2005, alongside Lisa Wilkinson. He quickly became a fan favorite with his easy-going personality and sense of humor. In 2011, he became the sole host of the show, and held the position until 2018.
In addition to his work on “Today”, Stefanovic has hosted other television programs, including “The Verdict” and “This Time Next Year”.
He has also made guest appearances on various shows, including “Q&A” and “The Project”.
Stefanovic has won several awards for his work in television journalism, including two Logie Awards for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television.
He has also been recognized for his work in charity and community service.
In his personal life, Stefanovic has been married twice. His first marriage was to journalist Cassandra Thorburn, with whom he has three children.
They divorced in 2016, and in 2018, he married fashion designer Jasmine Yarbrough.
