Kanye “Ye” West’s fans came to his aid Monday, launching a GoFundMe campaign to help the disgraced rapper regain his financial footing.
Kanye West, who has come under fire in recent weeks for a series of anti-Semitic outbursts, has been the subject of several GoFundMe campaigns in an effort to “make him a billionaire again,” according to All HipHop.
One fundraiser was already removed by the site after only making $5, but several others are said to be still active.
The rapper’s net worth took a downward plunge after his deal with Adidas fell apart.
“Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech,” Adidas said in a statement.
“Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness.”
CAA also dropped the 45-year-old rapper and Yeezy fashion guru, and his documentary was postponed indefinitely.
West claimed on Instagram that he lost nearly $2 billion in one day.
According to West’s inner circle, the “Gold Digger” singer has long had a fascination with Adolf Hitler.
This is not the first time fans have come to West’s aid: when the singer declared bankruptcy in 2016, the public raised nearly $50,000.
