Over the years, pressure has been mounted on Kantanka Automobile owned by Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo Kantanka and son, Kwadwo Sarfo Jr. who is also the CEO of the company to start producing smaller cars Ghanaians can afford but all fell on deaf ears.
The company gave all kinds of excuses but it seems one needs not to worry after a shared photo by Kwadwo Sarfo Jr. via his Twitter page captioned “Can you tell me what you see in this picture???”. In the photo, the company is seen assembling smaller cars resembling matrix, etc at its factory; raising much anticipation.

Formally, Kantanka Automobile was only producing 4×4 cars, car planes, and a whole lot of strange cars unknown to Ghanaians.
After the said tweet, some Ghanaians flooded the comment section of the CEO to hail him for breaking such good news to them.
“It’s nice. This is what we expect from you and your father. Produce more of this type and reduce the cost for we Ghanaians to buy. Let’s see the good effect of the 10yrs tax waiver in your production. Gov’t is banning the importation of accident cars. Use this opportunity,” Paul Bright wrote.
@kwesikwaa “i see Kantaka is finally getting the memo. Just do commercial cars! that’s your way into the average market. When they get to know and also trust your brand, they will buy the luxury cars when they make money”
I see an African revolution and a firm agenda to take a step into the world’s automobile market space and conquer. I see a future where I’ll buy a Kantanka vehicle in the UK from a Kantanka dealership. That’s what I see!
