Jimmy Millar: Former Rangers and Scotland striker died at the age of 87
Millar began his career at Dunfermline but was hired by famous Rangers manager Scot Symon in January 1955 and spent 12 years at Ibrox.
The Edinburgh-born forward won three league crowns, five Scottish Cups, and three League Cups during that period.
Millar, who earned two Scotland caps, scored 162 goals in 317 Rangers games and was later put into the club’s Hall of Fame.
“A tough, fearless, and speedy center-forward, our sympathies are with Jimmy’s family at this difficult time,” the Rangers stated in a statement.
