THE porn star who was caught filming in a Travelodge has revealed how much cash an average OnlyFans creator earns.
Lacey Amour, 23, recently made headlines when she was one of 28 people who checked into a Newcastle hotel to make an x-rated film.
The OnlyFans model was once chased out of Paris because she was filming near the Eiffel Tower.
The Welsh woman has now revealed everything, including how much the average x-rated content creator earns.
Lacey claims that many people believe they can set up an OnlyFans account and make five figures overnight, but this is not the case.
She claims that the average model only earns around £120 (about $150 USD) per month.
“It’s portrayed that you set up a page and instantly make £100,000,” Lacey told WalesOnline.
“This is not the case at all; in fact, OnlyFans has 1.2 million creators, with the average creator earning $150 (USD) per month.
“It takes a lot of time and effort to build a large account with a good wage, and even then, nothing is guaranteed.”
The porn star claims she now makes a good living from the site, but it took “blood, sweat, and tears” to get there.
Lacey earned around £100 per month when she first started on OnlyFans in 2019.
She eventually began putting more effort into her content, and her monthly income increased to around £500, then to £2,000.
“I put more into it after getting a taste of what I could earn and learning that you get out what you put in,” Lacey explained.
“I dropped out of my first year of university a year and a half ago and have spent every waking moment trying to grow my business, which is rapidly expanding.”
She explained that making money on OnlyFans is not as simple as people believe.
Creators must also market themselves on social media, communicate with subscribers 24 hours a day, post multiple times per day, and pour their hearts out.
“To be successful, you must wear every hat and do it well.”
“Being successful on OnlyFans is one part luck and three parts blood, sweat, and tears,” she added.
