Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger was spotted Tuesday for the first time since his arrest stepping out of a prisoner transport van outside the courthouse in advance of his highly anticipated extradition hearing.
As two law enforcement officers walked Kohberger, 28, to the Monroe County Courthouse at around 10:45 a.m., he was dressed in a scarlet jail jumpsuit and had his hands shackled in front of him.

The alleged mass murderer once turned to face the photographers and reporters with a menacing grimace.
The Ph.D. candidate from Washington State University was detained early on Friday after being accused of murdering Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, and Madison Mogen in the early hours of November 13 in a rental house off-campus.

Kohberger, a student at the WSU Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, was driven to the courthouse from the Monroe County Correctional Facility, which was roughly 7 miles away, in time for the extradition hearing at 3:30 p.m.
He will willingly travel to Moscow, Idaho, where he is charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary for the quadruple killing, according to his lawyer, Jason LaBar, who has stated that he will not contest extradition.

His parents and two sisters are anticipated to attend the hearing.
