Greg Foster is a former American track and field athlete who specialized in the high hurdles. He was born on August 4, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, and is considered one of the greatest hurdlers in history.
Foster won four consecutive world titles in the 110-meter hurdles between 1983 and 1991 and set the world record in the event in 1981 with a time of 12.93 seconds.
Foster was a dominant hurdler during the 1980s and early 1990s, known for his explosive speed and ability to clear hurdles with precision.
