Hollywood’s A-listers descended on the Golden Globes red carpet on Tuesday, dressed in a variety of eye-catching ensembles.
With a few exceptions, fears that few celebrities would attend this year because to the turmoil surrounding the Globes were mostly unwarranted.
Some significant absences included Tom Cruise and Brendan Fraser, both of whom had already separated themselves from the voting committee behind the Globes and did not attend.
The majority of the nominees and visitors who arrived at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles ahead of the ceremony were happy to pose for photos as they walked the red carpet.
