GES serves Ghc1 icecream & 50 pesewas bread as snacks for teachers at a workshop

Ghana Education Service (GES) has done marvelously well by serving teachers at a workshop with Ghc1 icecream & 50 pesewas bread totalling a whooping Ghc1.50p as their snacks.

A disappointed teacher took to a popular Facebook group to share the yawa.

She wrote: “In fact, am soo sad today. Am at a workshop organized by government through GES and this is what is served to teachers and heard teachers as snacks. A week long workshop starting from 8am to 5:30pm each day. Ooo when are we going to be respected.”

This has sparked a lot of reactions on social media.

Many are of the view that it is a total disrespected and disgrace to teaching as a profession.

Below are some comments shared on the ‘Angry’ teacher’s post;

“What pains me much is that our workshops or training is always organised at schools”

“Forget about the spelling thing nu, this Country is jux retrogressing under the competent ppl. They sit in the parliament hse and make unnecessary rules and lavish the state funds, how much are teachers paid. Will they serve MPs with that. What nonsense. After everything they will mention some huge amount that went in to that”

“My sister tell us what u were expecting? .. Pizza🍕, Sharwama or KFC streetwise.. My sister enjoy ur Asaana s3 tea oo n pie in peace 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

“Don’t worry He is in the north making big big promises to u guys.Am sure next year by this time u will be enjoying something berra from Kempinski.”

This is a pure disgrace Awwww….
