Emily Seebohm is an Australian competitive swimmer who was born on June 5, 1992, in Adelaide, South Australia.
She is primarily a backstroke specialist but has also competed in other events such as freestyle and individual medley.
Seebohm has represented Australia in multiple international competitions including the Olympic Games, World Championships, Commonwealth Games, and Pan Pacific Championships.
Some of Seebohm’s notable achievements include winning gold and silver medals in the 200-meter backstroke and 4×100-meter medley relay, respectively, at the 2012 London Olympics.
She has also won a total of nine gold, five silver, and six bronze medals at the World Championships and three gold, three silver, and three bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games.
Seebohm has set several Australian and Commonwealth records in various events throughout her career.

In 2015, Seebohm began a relationship with a fellow swimmer, Mitch Larkin. The couple owned a house together in Hendra, Brisbane. In July 2018, Seebohm announced their separation.
In 2019, Seebohm moved on with breakfast radio host David Lutteral, however, after more than a year of dating, the pair split in March 2021.
