Ernest Ofori Sarpong CEO of Special Ice Mineral Water and the business mogul’s brother Osei Kwame Despite have contributed and built a modern astroturf for his alma mater Legon Presec.
The astroturf that has a track, a fence, changing rooms, stands and floodlights will be the new grounds where Legon Presbyterian Boys (Presec) students can play football during their leisure time and also train for national and inter-regional soccer championships.
This is the second astroturf built by an individual at a senior high school based in Accra.
It would be recalled that three years ago legendary Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan built a multi-purpose astroturf on his alma mater’s Accra Academy High School campus.
This astroturf adds up to the charity works from Dr. Osei Kwame Despite and his big brother, Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong in their philanthropic duties to serve Ghanaians.
